MEDITATIONS
“Meditations” is a series born from the artist’s need to find stillness through the act of painting. Executed in oil on canvas with size 0 and 00 brushes, these works demand precision, concentration, and total synchronicity between mind and body. Each line is the result of a conscious, repeated, almost ritualistic gesture, in which time seems to stand still. At first glance, the work evokes speed and movement, as if capturing the instant when light is distorted by traveling too fast. However, its origin lies in slowness: in the meditative process of the painter, line by line, exploring patience as a way of being. In these pieces, the artist combines technical discipline with a profound reflection on time, perception, and matter. Inspired by both the freedom of the Impressionists and the ideas of quantum physics and philosophy, his work engages with concepts such as relativity, superposition, and consciousness. Each stroke can be interpreted as a vector of energy, a vibration suspended in space, a trace of the universe's continuous movement. Thus, “Meditations” transcends the practice of painting: it is a spiritual exercise where color, light, and rhythm become gateways to an inner experience.
